The plan is divided into lettered squares for use with Langley & Belch's "Companion to New Map of London".
Edward Langley and William Belch were English booksellers, publishers, printers and engravers, who worked in partnership as "Langley & Belch", the company which was active for a brief period at the start of 19th century (approx. 1805 -1820) and was located at N 173 High Street, Borough, London.
