The story of Jesus Christ meeting a Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well near town of Sychar (present Aschar, near ancient Shechem), is one of the most iconic encounters in the Bible. The woman's name at the time of the meeting is unknown, however she was later baptized as Photine / Photina / Photini, was martyred for her faith by Emperor Nero, and celebrated as a saint, after. Jesus said to her: "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty." This is the first time when Jesus reveals himself as a Messiah: "I am he, the one who is speaking to you".
Robert Seaton was a British mapmaker, active in Georgian period. He was appointed a Hydrographer to the King (George IV).
Josiah Neele (1804 - 1876) was a British engraver, printer, publisher, and map seller. He was the son of Samuel J. Neele, also an engraver and a map maker. Josiah went into publishing business in partnership with his uncle and brother, James Neele, from their office at 352 Strand, London, until 1829. He then continued publishing under his own name from same office until bankruptcy in 1836.
